A Container For Frost

Frost is no worry for this charming container! You’ll love the way that it looks in Fall, Winter and Spring. Sweet violas blooming, and cabbages and kales that will grow and change as the seasons progress.

I love a Fall garden and with the whimsical look of ivy spilling out the side this container adds a little bit of decorative fun to the Fall gardening space. While all the eatable things are wonderful, there is something to the beauty of some foliage and flowers. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 Penny Yellow Blotch Violas

  • Pidgin Rose Cabbage

  • 3 Ornamental Kale

  • English Ivy

Directions:

Plant in wide container and enjoy! Remember that with Fall plantings, the closer the better as the plants will not grow much during the colder months.

*Watering is key in the winter so keep an eye on the plants even if you have gotten some snow fall.
